「点、線、夢、そしてまた」in DANCESEED2013
作品について
幼い頃に読んでいた絵本を大人になって読み返す。なあにこんな本、と閉じかけると、そこは既に絵本の世界。本は体よりも大きくなり、私は物語の登場人物・動植物に変容していく。テキパキと七変化するカラダ。いつの間にか、それは「絵」という形を失って「線」となり、私の周りを渦巻いていた。やがて「線」は「音」となり、鮮烈な鉛筆の音が身体を裂く。描く喜びと描けぬ悲しみ。音は脳から足の指先へと伝わり、地面に一本の線が引かれた。それは、現実の線なのか、おはなしの中の線なのか。身体から吐き出された線は空へ続き、雲間には藍い空が見えた。そして、紙は天の川となって、新しい物語の世界へと私を導いた。
時間軸を交錯させることで、見る人も、現実と夢の世界を縦横無尽に往来できる作品を目指した。
ABOUT THE PERFORMANCE
When you grew up, you read again a picture book reading as childhood. Just as you close it, you fell into a world of the picture book! The book grew up as big as you, you changed to the characters.
Your body was changing in succession! It became to "a line" from "a picture", and it was in a whirl of yourself before you know it. Not long before, "a line" became "a sound", the sound such as scratch pencil splited you. Pleasures or sorrows about drawing had spread there. The sound ran to the tip of your toe from your brain, then "a line" ran on the ground. Was this line in a hard fact, or in a imagination? The line continue to the sky, and you were able to see a deep blue sky from behind the clouds. At the end, the long paper became the Milky Way. I hope you travel to new world by the way.
