作品について
家の周りに広がる「畑」からインスピレーションを得た作品。真冬の冷たい風や、平地特有の砂嵐に吹かれる野菜が、当時一人暮らしを始めたばかりの自身の姿に重なった。
人の手によって育てられ人の体の一部となる野菜たちが、ビニールのカバーを脱ぎ、夜の畑で暴れだす。「収穫されるのをひたすら待つなんてもったいない！」と、地に張る根を蹴り、空中に舞う。
ABOUT THE PERFORMANCE
I got this image from the fields around my house. At that time, I had just started live by myself. So, the lonely feeling fell on the winter cold wind and the sandstorm on the fields.
The VEGETABLES they were grown by people run away from the vinyl house, and they begin dancing! They shout "How wasteful to just waiting when harvest!" . They kick the ground and they are whirling in the sky.
